Notebook Addict of the Week: A Norwegian Artist

Here’s the latest Notebook Addict of the Week, found on Flickr:

They are filled with drawings and collage in a very raw style, by Kier Cooke Sandvik of Norway, whose profile reads as follows:

transsexual, atheistic anarchist.

I’m Other.

See all the Flickr images here, (though I’m not sure the original set is still on Flickr) and more on the artist’s blog here. (Caution to anyone who may be offended by adult material.)

  1. Hi! I see you are a real notebook lover! I was wondering if you could help me. I’m trying to find a notebook I saw once but can’t find it on the internet. It looks like a paperblank notebook (hardcover), but it had a band like moleskine ones. However, the interesting thing is that they were travel notebooks, like the moleskine city ones; but instead of being just black, they had wonderful pictures of the most outstanding monuments or elements of the city the notebook was dedicated to. I bought one on Paris for a friend, but I was looking for the catalog on the internet to check what other cities they had, and frustrantingly enough, I forgot the brand and I’m unable to find anything. I don’t think it was Moleskine at all, and in the Paperblank catalog, they don’t have anything similar. Maybe you have seen some. They are really pretty, by the way.

If you know about them, please, tell me!!! I would be really grateful!

  2. OK, I promise to stop commenting on some point, especially on the uber-old posts, but I just wanted to mention that the link in this post leads to your wp-admin section rather than the Flickr photo page.
