Notebook Addict of the Week: Cassie

I love it when I get emails that begin like this: “My name is Cassie, and I’m a notebook addict. I’m sending you some pictures of my collection.”

Here’s what Cassie has to say:

I love, love, love notebooks. I’ve been scribbling ever since I could hold a pen, and keeping a journal seriously since I was fourteen. The first picture is my whole collection – pretty much every notebook I have, minus a few here and there that have gone missing. The second picture is the series of books I have filled with journalling over the past ten years. The third picture is five notebooks I’m currently using: I have a quote journal, a regular day-to-day journal, a gratitude journal, a five-year diary that I write just a few lines in every day, and a notebook that holds a list of books I want to read. Quite a few of the notebooks in my collection are empty – I can’t resist buying a pretty new one when I see it. :) A couple of my favorites are two handmade books that my friend made for me in a book-binding class, and the tiny little blue one that was my husband’s diary when he was ten. :)

Great collection, Cassie! Thank you for sharing it with us!

  1. In the middle picture, did the blank journal on the very right of the bottom row come from Procter and Gamble? The artwork resembles their former man-in-the-moon trademark.

  2. Cassie,
I was truly struck by how many ways we can use a journal or notebook for so many purposes in our lives, to help bring awareness and gratitude while reading your post and looking at the photos.
I love all the different formats you use for different purposes. It really keeps it organized. :)
