Notebook Addict of the Week: Ted

This week’s addict emailed me to say “I like Field Notes. Moleskine too but I dont buy them much anymore. Quality has gone down. I use a hc pocket plain and strap 3 FN together with one of their rubber bands. 2 for writing and 1 for music and book lists etc.”

He’s not kidding when he says he likes Field Notes:

I think this may be the largest collection I’ve seen of just one brand of unused notebooks. Ted, thank you for sharing your very serious addiction with us!

  1. That’s everything up through American Tradesman except Butcher Extra Blue and my Butcher Orange are retail editions so 2nd printings I guess. Have everything after that too. Also use a FN for daily lists like groceries, checking acct etc. Don’t like covers. I like my notebooks to get beat up and look “lived in”. I may be drawing the line at the new crop edition. very cool but they don’t inspire me to use them. Seems like they’re more for collecting than using. Gotta use em…..Thanks Nifty

  2. Hi Ted,

Just wondering if you have packs (or singles) of Grass Stain Green, Mackinaw Autumn, Just Below Zero or Butcher Extra Blue that you’d be willing to sell? I’d be willing to pay quite a bit….

    Thanks,
    Tana

  4. I too am looking for older Colors Editions anything prior to the Dry Transfer edition.
