Notebook Addict of the Week: A Penchant for Paper

Heather at A Penchant for Paper asks How Many Notebooks Are Too Many?:

The true notebook addict would probably say that it would be impossible to have too many notebooks, but I am not so sure.  I have been feeling overwhelmed lately by the number of notebooks that I am currently using, as well as feeling the need to simplify and use fewer notebooks.  Here are all of the notebooks that I am using right now:
There’s lots more descriptive information about these in the original post.

  1. This is such a wonderful place to stop! love the pictures and your paper passion.

Perhaps a bit of advice? I am using my notebooks, since I have quite a collection and am tired of looking at it so, I’m writing and carrying an assortment of about 6 right now.
It seems I need to assemble the stuff I’ve written in the various ones – get it n one place – like, one tiny notebook has story ideas, another has essays and lists, another has pages that I label “tear out and save.”

So how do you organize the stuff you’ve written in different notebooks? Do you pull it all together in one big notebook or use your laptop as the motherload?
Just curious. “notebook org” is something I need to attack today as I get my writing in order.

  2. Thanks, Nifty, for making me your Notebook Addict of the Week! I really enjoy your blog and have been reading it for some time, so I was pleasantly surprised to see you mention and link to my post here today. Thanks again.
