Austin Kleon is at it again with a new book called Show Your Work!: 10 Ways to Share Your Creativity and Get Discovered. And in the spirit of showing his work, he’s got some pictures of a notebook he kept during his book tour: See more at Show Your Work! Tour Notebook.
This week’s addict is one of the kind readers who loves notebooks so much, she even enjoys sharing her extras and once sent me a couple of notebooks to review. She probably didn’t miss them, as she has 267 other notebooks waiting to be used… or at least that was how many she had back … Continue reading Notebook Addict of the Week: June→
This week’s addict has a habit of filling Moleskine and Rhodia notebooks. Look at these nice stacks! The Moleskine stack is pretty impressive given that he says he remembers first holding a Moleskine in his hands in January 2012. The Rhodias are from 2003-2006. Emmanuel says he wrote the first book in French about the … Continue reading Notebook Addict of the Week: Emmanuel→
Here’s another repeat addict: Gerard is a Canadian artist and arts educator whose notebooks were featured here a few years ago. Looks like his collection of idea books and studio journals has kept on growing! Some Whitelines journals are now added to the mix too. Check out Gerard’s site: MIX AND SHIFT: OVER 60.

It is a lot more than an object, as it inhabits and fills out hallowed ground between meditation and production. Truly, writing is a strange business…” And some images … Continue reading Thoughts on Field Notebooks→

The notebook below, probably from the 1950s, was used by Brel for draft song lyrics, and was estimated to sell for between 50,000 and 70,000 euros. It’s a nice looking notebook– … Continue reading Jacques Brel’s Notebook→
This week’s addict was thinking about de-cluttering and realized notebooks were a bit of a problem! “This week I realized that I’ve gone a little overboard with the notebooks and binders (and sadly this is only 1/2 of my collection). You see, as an admitted office supply addict, geek and lover of all things paper.  Notebooks woo me… with their pretty … Continue reading Notebook Addict of the Week: Donna→
This week’s addict emailed me to share her collection– or at least part of it: I’ve been reading your blog for about a year now, and my favourite part of it is the Addict of the Week. I always wonder if my collection is actually a bit absurd compared to some of the others, but … Continue reading Notebook Addict of the Week: Jemma→
